Not at all easy to 'tell the truth'. It's not mine alone to share. We're in an entirely sexless 'mixed orientation marriage'. I'm straight, and my wife's 'come out' to herself and to me as a lesbian. We have a small handful of friends in the know. But years of waiting, unanswered prayers. There is no hope of change. So what to hope for, what to look forward to? How to find 'wholeness' or 'healing', when we are both so broken?

Andrew, it takes discernment and wisdom to know who to share such deep wounds with. It sounds like you and wife are wise in that you've chosen to share with a few close friends. You are right that, for some, our needs for intimacy (even sex) may go unmet in this broken world. That's not an easy truth to walk in. Thankful for your vulnerability here.
